Telecom Egypt is Egypt’s primary telephone company. It started in 1854 with the first telegraph line in Egypt. In 1998, it replaced the former Arab Republic of Egypt National Telecommunication Organization.
The Assistant Prime Minister referred to the executive position of the information infrastructure being implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, represented in: linking the Capital Information Center (NN1) and the unified data center, linking the Capital Information Center (NN1) and Madinati Central and Al Shorouk, and implementing linking paths and extending Optical fiber cables to connect the government district buildings to the Capital Information Center (NN1), supply, installation and operation of data transmission devices, supply and installation of surveillance cameras as well as installation of Fire alarm and fighting systems.
